Is packaging necessary?

• Absolutely yes. Our society cannot and should not live without packaging. Apart from the convenience that it offers shopper, packaging prevents waste that would be many times bigger than the volume and value of packaging itself.
• The World Health Organisation (W.H.O.) has published that in less developed parts of the world food wastage can be as high as 50% whereas in the more developed countries it is limited to 2-3%.
