Paper - The industry's choice

Paper works on multitude of packaging applications. Speciality papers for packaging, labels and laminates come in countless varieties for specific applications. Because of a combination of strength, stiffness and caliper, paper is an easy substrate to run at high speed on all kinds of printing/ converting and/ or packaging machines.

Paper is a very cost-effective substrate compared to competing packaging materials and usually also permits use of lower-costs inks and adhesives. Even the production waste is valuable and easily disposable.

With the many parameters and incredients that can be adjusted and by using highly versatile machinery it is possible to achieve exactly the technical properties that are needed for a particular customer, process or product. Very often the products are tailor made for a particular use. The industry also works in close cooperation with the converters and packers-fillers to anticipate their future needs.
